Hey there, fellow future Mustangs! I'm California native who spent my college years down in Long Beach (Go, ers! Reckon I've got some pretty useful tips for anyone starting off as freshman at Cal Poly SLO. First off, Now let's talk about WOW week (Week of Welcome) it's an absolute must-do! It's like this huge introduction to your new life, so don't miss it. It's great way to bond with other students and familiarize yourself with the campus. Food-wise? With an on-campus market that features loads of local products think avocados fresh from Avila Valley you're not going to starve. And when you're tired of cafeteria food, downtown SLO is just short bus ride away. To be honest, Study hard and party responsibly; it's all about balance
. Remember why you're here Cal Poly SLO has excellent programs and resources (truly top-notch), but you've gotta put in the effort to make the most of them. For those late-night study sessions, Robert Kennedy Library is open until am on weekdays!
