So, I've graduated from USC, where majored in Film and Production, universe away from engineering. My little brother just got accepted into Cal Poly SLO and he's all pumped to start his engineering major there. But let's be real, I'm kind of worried about the workload he's gonna face. Mean, I've heard the stories am coffee binges, weekend-long study sessions… You know the drill. And while my bro is pretty smart, he’s also social butterfly who loves catching some waves in his free time. Anyway, So, are these engineering horror-stories exaggerated or does he really need to brace for impact? Like on scale of "chill beach vibes" to "pulling all-nighters every other day", where does Cal Poly SLO land for engineering students? Also, just out of curiosity any international students here at USF? How's life on campus and in the city? Cheers!1
