So, still remember the day started at Berkeley before transferring to Santa Cruz:/. You'd think finding spot to lay your head would be simple, right? Not so much. Dorms were as elusive as hidden level in triple-A game release, and off-campus housing was like trying to score loot in boss raid with no gear! Mean, seriously, did anyone else have this problem or was just on whole other level of bad luck? Remember having to camp out on the computers, like it was Black Friday shopping online? Clicking refresh every minute for that housing application page? And yet somehow always ending up waitlisted? And let’s not even start about prices for off-campus houses. Talking about it would feel like reminiscing about the time accidentally overwrote my 60-hour Skyrim save file. Painful! Getting six people packed into an apartment designed for three well folks, that’s closer than any team-building exercise I’ve ever participated in. Enough from me though this isn't just about me reliving my housing saga.
