Hey all! Just want to say it’s really cool connecting with you here. I'm Jimenez doing my Masters in Environmental Science at Stanford yes, trees are my thing. Looking back, applying for colleges was quite ride. Remember pulling all-nighters just trying to nail those application essays. Gotta say, even though I've been doing pretty well academically, writing has never been my strong suit. Always felt like I’m stuck in rut while writing those essays like One thing that kept me sane was surfing and hitting up Freebirds for the world’s best burritos.
Yeah, you’ve guessed it right did my undergrad at Santa Barbara. Man, that laid-back beach vibe is something else. Any UCSB recent grads here missing those sunset surfs as much as do? Going back to the essay writing nightmare, any masters or folks around who could share their secret sauce on how to improve? Maybe some strategies on how to organize thoughts better or ways to make your writing more engaging? Seriously, any advice would be lifesaver for those college applications looming ahead of us all.
