Tips for tackling MCQs in the Biology Exam?

There! I'm Lily, just your average mom out here in sunny California. My son's currently pursuing marine biology at Santa Cruz so, yes, I'm proud Banana Slug mom! He's working on prepping for his upcoming Biology exam and it's Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) galore! The tricky part is these aren't your typical pick-one-out-of-four MCQs. They're more like follow-the-breadcrumb-trail-to-the-answer kind of questions. You guys remember those, right? So, it got me wondering if anyone has some handy tips or tricks to tackle these monsters? Like, is it better to read the answers first then the question?

Or should he be eliminating obvious wrong answers straight off the bat? Any recommendations on time management techniques to Now on completely different note, my nephew is all set to major in Computer Science at Davis. That boy eats, sleeps, and breathes coding. But even he's bit anxious about managing the workload. Mean, it's Davis after all no walk in the park. So, any insider tips from you Davis Aggies out there who've weathered the storm?

I've heard whispers about late-night study groups and professor office hours being lifesavers. What else do you guys recommend for keeping up with assignments and project deadlines without losing sanity?
