Hey peeps, what's up? I've been reliving my college days lately and it got me thinking about how overwhelmed was when was trying to pick university here in California. The options are endless, amirite? Mean, we’ve got everything from small community colleges to big UCs and CSUs. So after spending more late nights than care to admit researching colleges, landed on the beautiful campus of Santa Cruz. Go Banana Slugs! My time there was filled with long study sessions by the beach, tide pool excursions for my marine biology classes, and honestly, the best four years of my life. But enough about me! Recently, found myself mentoring friend who's studying at Gavilan College. She's considering transferring to CSU but she's kinda lost about the whole transfer process. It made me realize that while my journey was pretty smooth sailing (pardon the pun), the transfer route can be murky waters for some folks. Basically, So for those of you who've been in these shoes transferred from Gavilan College to CSU any tips or experiences you could share? Like what was your biggest hurdle during the transfer? Or maybe something you wish you'd known before starting the process? Looking back at my time in college, man do miss those banana slug days. But hey, every path has its own unique perks, right?
